Leadership & development training

In addition to the support we are able to offer, Devon County Council has also funded a leadership and development training programme provided by Cosmic. This support is provided through a series of workshops for the managers and owners of ASC businesses in Devon, with the aim of developing leadership and management skills and thereby increasing sufficiency in the sector.

Any eligible adult social care organisation in Devon which feels it would benefit from leadership development can apply to attend these workshops. Further information on the workshops can be found on the Cosmic website.

Here’s what some of our clients have to say

Our advisor encouraged us to think in a profit-focused way and take time out from the day-to-day operational issues to plan strategically.

We were encouraged to ‘see’ beyond our immediate challenge and look at the wider profitability of the business including the risks and our own financial goals for the future. This led to a clarity we hadn’t seen before.

I felt very fortunate to be able to access tailored, face-to-face advice in a way that worked for us as a business. We needed answers to specific questions and this was what we received. This is no substitute for searching for generic advice over the internet!Rachel Johnstone - Southgate Publishers

Helpful, knowledgeable, conscientious, prompt, professional. A really good service to have in the area and I’d be a bit stuck without them.

Go straight to BIP. I have passed this advice on to many people over the years and indeed got a message this morning from someone who has taken that advice saying “thank you, they are amazing!”Jo Henderson - Barrel Top Wagons
