Ways To Fund Your Business
This workshop is part of a funded support programme called Innovation in Healthy Ageing which runs across the Heart of the South West area. The programme has been designed to help small businesses and social enterprises with projects to introduce new and innovative products, services and technology designed to help people live in their homes for longer, tackle loneliness, and increase independence and wellbeing.
During this workshop we will look at different types of business funding which will include grants, loans and crowdfunding options. We’ll explore what funding is currently available as well as how to approach the application process to give yourself the best chance of securing funding.
You’ll learn about what crowdfunding is, how it works and tips to help make any crowdfunding campaign a success. This will include a discussion using real-life examples to see what makes for a successful (and unsuccessful) campaign as well as the different types of platforms to choose and how best to attract investment.
You will learn:
- Types of business funding that are available
- How to apply for funding such as grants and loans
