Farming Grant Application Support
During this free workshop we will be focussing on the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund given the short deadline of 7 January 2022 for round one applications.
As a brief overview, this fund provides grants of between £2,000 and £25,000 towards the cost of equipment and technology to improve the productivity of farms in a sustainable way. Each piece of equipment carries a set price, so, in the case of a slurry separator, for example, the grant will cover £7,613 regardless of what it costs to buy.
By attending this workshop, you will get a complete run-down of the grant including the application process, eligibility criteria and how to submit a claim. This will also include discussions to ensure that anyone making an application is doing so based on good business decision making.
While not compulsory, it may be worthwhile looking at the list of eligible items, and grant amounts listed in the guidance prior to the workshop and start to think about what equipment you may require. You can find the list here.
During the workshop we will also look in detail at the upcoming Devon Elevation Fund from Devon County Council which will likely offer more business diversification opportunities.
