This workshop will give you an introduction to Shopify giving you an overview of this popular ecommerce site builder, help you decide if it’s right for you, and give you the tools to make sure you’ve got everything you need BEFORE you dive in so you don’t get overwhelmed and DO GET your site live and ready for the PING of your first sale notification.

- Deciding if Shopify is right for you, things to think about and how to make sure you’re set up for success.
- What to think about and plan for to make sure you get your site built and optimised for sales from the start.
- How to get in front of your ideal audience and get your first sale.

Meet the Speaker: Ruth Douglas
Ruth is a marketing and ecommerce consultant, who helps creative businesses set up the Shopify stores and get-things-done in their business.
She has over 20 years of marketing, sales and digital experience across a range of sectors including events, not-for-profit, tourism and micro-ecommerce.
Ruth recently launched Exe and Co, an online store featuring Devon based creative businesses so knows exactly how daunting taking the first steps into ecommerce can be.
