Peer to Peer Networking for Hospitality Businesses
The pandemic proved to be a really tough time for many businesses with the hospitality industry hit particularly hard. Unfortunately, trading conditions have continued to be problematic for many with rising costs and difficulties with attracting and retaining staff, particularly seasonal workers.
To try and support businesses in the hospitality industry through these challenging times, we have created a series of three peer to peer networking workshops to help bring together local businesses, share best practices and work through common issues. The sessions are completely free as part of the Thrive Business Support Service.
Through the sessions we will enable you to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them. From recruitment, finance and HR to sales, marketing and more, our facilitators give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you, helping you to build and strengthen your business and improve its overall performance.
Having run these types of sessions previously we’ve had great feedback from participants who have found tangible benefits from attending such as increased turnover, new recruits and product development. Discussions and collaborations have often continued outside of the sessions and groups have even continued to meet formally to continue the benefits.

The three session dates are:
Thursday, 14 July – 10am to 1pm
Thursday, 21 July – 10am to 1pm
Wednesday, 27 July – 10am to 1pm
While we would recommend you come to all three sessions, if other commitments get in the way then feel free to attend as many as you can.

The Heart of the South West Growth Hub Service for All is receiving up to £781,965 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The accountable body for this programme is Devon County Council.
