Grow Your Business
Let us help take your business to the next level.
Growing a business can be quite a challenge, requiring a number of important decisions on how to expand. It is also often the first time new business owners have to think about hiring and managing staff.
It can really help to have someone experienced to guide you through and that’s where we come in. Our local advisers are uniquely equipped to support you through this stage of the business process.
Over 20 years’ experience has taught us how best to do this and as every business is unique we are able to tailor our support specifically for you.
Throughout Devon (excluding Plymouth, North Devon & Torridge) we are able to offer up to 12 hours of bespoke business support as well as signposting to other services for free, thanks to funding from the European Development Fund.

Helping you through the coronavirus pandemic
Businesses and the self-employed have been hit hard by the pandemic, though with the restrictions starting to ease there is light at the end of the tunnel for many.
Clearly a lot has changed since the UK went into lock-down towards the end of March so it may well not be business as usual for a long time to come. Customer attitudes, behaviors and indeed, whole industries have changed and so it’s vital to take stock and adapt to new ways of operating.
This support is here for you and tailored specifically to your individual needs (not generic advice you can find on the internet). Our advisors have a wealth of knowledge and can discuss any aspects of your business as needed. Whether you need to re-evaluate your marketing strategy, create a new business plan, navigate the road to reopening or discuss staffing, we can help.
We can support any existing business located in Exeter, East Devon, West Devon, Mid Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge or Torbay. Each business can receive 12 hours of free business support with a combination of remote, one-to-one meetings and webinars on a wide range of topics.

Here’s what some of our clients have to say
Our advisor encouraged us to think in a profit-focused way and take time out from the day-to-day operational issues to plan strategically.
We were encouraged to ‘see’ beyond our immediate challenge and look at the wider profitability of the business including the risks and our own financial goals for the future. This led to a clarity we hadn’t seen before.
I felt very fortunate to be able to access tailored, face-to-face advice in a way that worked for us as a business. We needed answers to specific questions and this was what we received. This is no substitute for searching for generic advice over the internet!Rachel Johnstone - Southgate Publishers
Helpful, knowledgeable, conscientious, prompt, professional. A really good service to have in the area and I’d be a bit stuck without them.
Go straight to BIP. I have passed this advice on to many people over the years and indeed got a message this morning from someone who has taken that advice saying “thank you, they are amazing!”Jo Henderson - Barrel Top Wagons
