DESCRIPTION:With thanks to the Nettlecombe Estate for hosting\n\n\nThe recent Defra announcement regarding an expanded SFI offer\, available from late July 2024\, have left many farmers wondering whether SFI is the right approach for them. \nJoin us at this workshop where we explore what SFI could offer your farm business\, with a particular focus on: \n\nHow SFI can work in practice on a grassland farm\nWhat SFI actions are suitable\, what they require you to do\, and how much you could earn\nWe will focus in particular on actions suitable for grass farms\, including wildflower meadows\nHow CS grants can support your land management\, including how to apply\n\n  \nEligibility: \nThis workshop is part of the Future Farming Resilience programme & is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Somerset\, Dorset\, or Cornwall currently in receipt of BPS payments. \nTo be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent 1:1 support or attend further workshops\, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form. Forms will be provided by your advisor\, at a workshop\, or emailed to you after an online workshop. Please ensure forms are completed swiftly.
