SUMMARY:Unlocking The Potential Of Slurry As A Renewable Energy Source On Farm
DESCRIPTION:With thanks to Bennamann\n\n\nAs farmers\, we are used to considering gas emissions from slurry stores as an air quality nuisance. What if these fugitive emissions could become a valuable resource and potential revenue for your farm while helping to move your business towards Net Zero emissions? \nUsing Bennamann’s innovative CAPCH4 ™ technology\, livestock farms can fully cover their slurry lagoons\, capture the fugitive emissions that are naturally emitted into the atmosphere\, and clean\, process and upgrade it to generate a green gas called Biomethane. This can then be used as power and fuel on-farm\, reducing operating\, energy\, fuel and fertiliser costs while improving the carbon footprint and profitability of the business. \nJoin us for an online workshop where Bennamann will explain how their ‘game-changing’ technology works while discussing: \n\nSlurry management\nSlurry Infrastructure Grant (SIG) Funding\nOn-farm energy generation\nMobile gas upgrading\nRenewable transport fuel certificates\n\nAre you ready for a clean energy revolution on your farm? \nWorkshop details:\nThis will be an online session\, delivered via Zoom. Joining details will be sent to you 48 hours before the workshop. \nEligibility \nThis workshop is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Somerset\, Dorset\, Cornwall\, or the Isles of Scilly currently in receipt of BPS payments. \nTo be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent 1:1 support or attend further workshops\, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form.
