SUMMARY:Farm Grants Update & Navigating the Agricultural Transition
DESCRIPTION:Update on grants available to farming businesses and help to navigate the Agricultural Transition.\n\n\nWith the change in farming support moving away from the Basic Payment Scheme there will be grants available towards environmental improvement\, animal health and welfare\, and reducing carbon emissions. \nThe Future Farming Resilience Fund has been funded by Defra to allow us to support farmers and land managers with this transition. The support is free for any farmer or land manager currently in receipt of BPS payments. \nThis FREE workshop will cover: \n\nIntroducing the support to replace Basic Payment and timelines.\nInformation on the Sustainable Farming Incentive Scheme (SFI)\nOther income streams relating to the Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMs)\nFarming In Protected Landscapes (AONB)\nThe Farming Investment Fund including Slurry Infrastructure Grant and Farming Equipment and Technology Grant\nStand Alone Water\, Air and Boundary Capital Grants\nWoodland Grant Support\nRural Prosperity Fund\n\nYou will also get the opportunity to sign up to get additional support through the Future Farm Resilience program including one to one on farm visits and advice. \nWe will be serving some refreshments prior to the start of the workshop. \n  \nEligibility: \nThis workshop is part of the Future Farming Resilience programme & is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Somerset\, Dorset\, or Cornwall currently in receipt of BPS payments. \nTo be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent one-to-one support or attend further workshops\, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form. Forms will be provided by your advisor\, at a workshop\, or emailed to you after an online workshop. Please ensure forms are completed swiftly.
