DESCRIPTION:Join us with our special guest speaker Mike Dilger\, The One Show wildlife reporter\, and learn about carbon reduction opportunities\n\n\nJoin us for a fantastic roadshow event\, bringing green business information and support to a venue near you\, through the East Devon Carbon Action Programme. \nWith knowledgeable and inspirational speakers\, ready to show you how your organisation can adopt eco-friendly practices\, as well practical workshops to put inspiration into practice as you start to develop your own action plans. \nWe’ll also share all the details about the free business support available to businesses\, charities and community organisations across East Devon to help you on your net zero journey. \n  \nThis roadshow has been kindly hosted at Kennaway House\, a community hub already actively implementing their own practices and procedures towards Net Zero. \nFeaturing guest speaker Mike Dilger\, the British ecologist\, television presenter and the wildlife reporter on the BBC television programme The One Show. \n  \nWorkshop: Using Networking and PR to grow your Sustainable Presence \nThis practical workshop will show you how to focus on local opportunities for PR and networking to build ‘sustainability presence’ and buying local through engaging with local supply chains. \nYou’ll be given guidance on how to reduce your carbon footprint as well as how to access grants through the Carbon Action Fund to help you put your plans into action. \n  \nAbout the East Devon Carbon Action Programme (EDCAP) \nEDCAP has been designed to provide free support for businesses and community organisations of all sizes across East Devon to measure and reduce their carbon impact\, bring in more environmentally friendly practices and move towards becoming net zero. \nThe East Devon Carbon Action Programme is funded by East Devon District Council.
