SUMMARY:The Latest Farm Grants Update: Adding Value Through Infield Agroforestry
DESCRIPTION:Discussion on the benefits of agroforestry for farming businesses\, including funding\, system design\, establishment\, and maintenance.\n\n\nThis free workshop will include: \n\nDiscussion on the benefits of agroforestry for farming businesses.\nFunding system design\, establishment and maintenance of in-field trees through SFI\, Higher Tier\, Countryside Stewardship Capital Grants\, private finance and other public funding.\nTour around The Grower’s min-till tree nursery based on the edge of St Agnes\, Cornwall\n\n  \nThe Future Farming Resilience Fund is funded by Defra to support farmers and land managers through the biggest changes in farm support for generations\, as BPS ends and new environmental schemes are launched. The support is free and available until December 2024 to any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Dorset\, Somerset or Cornwall with more than 5ha of land and an SBI. \n  \nTimings & Refreshments: \n10:30 – 15:00. \nLunch and refreshments will be provided. \n  \nEligibility: \nThis workshop is part of the Future Farming Resilience programme & is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Somerset\, Dorset\, or Cornwall currently in receipt of BPS payments. \nTo be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent 1:1 support or attend further workshops\, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form. Forms will be provided by your advisor\, at a workshop\, or emailed to you after an online workshop. Please ensure forms are completed swiftly.
