SUMMARY:Farm funding\, natural capital assets and BNG
DESCRIPTION:What is Natural Capital\, what does it involve\, and is it right for my farm business?\n\n\nSince leaving the EU and the loss of BPS\, farmers have been living through a period of great change. The Future farming Resilience project is Defra-funded to help farmers understand the changes and their impact on farm economics. \nIn this free workshop\, we examine some exciting new opportunities for farmers\, including: \n\nWhat is meant by natural assets/ natural capital and the different forms it can take\nHow natural capital could work on your farm: steps in the process of getting involved\nReal life examples how real farmers have approached different natural capital funding streams\, including the pros and cons of each.\n\n  \nThe session will involve a presentation plus the opportunity to ask questions and interact with others in the same position. \n  \nEligibility\nThis workshop is provided under the Future Farming Resilience Fund\, which was funded by Defra to allow us to support farmers and land managers with the Agricultural Transition. The support is free for any farmer or land manager in Devon\, Somerset\, Dorset\, or Cornwall. \nIf you have not previously registered to the FFR programme\, please click here for further info and guidance on the free support available. \nTo be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent 1:1 support or attend further workshops\, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form. Forms will be provided by your advisor\, at a workshop\, or emailed to you after an online workshop. Please ensure forms are completed swiftly.
