Join us for a fantastic roadshow event, bringing green business information and support to a venue near you, through the East Devon Carbon Action Programme.

With knowledgeable and inspirational speakers, ready to show you how your organisation can adopt eco-friendly practices, as well practical workshops to put inspiration into practice as you start to develop your own action plans.

We’ll also share all the details about the free business support available to businesses, charities and community organisations across East Devon to help you on your net zero journey.

 

This roadshow has been kindly hosted at Escot Estate.

Featuring guest speaker Nigel Marvin, a British wildlife TV presenter, naturalist, conservationist, author, and television producer. Best known as presenter of the BBC miniseries Chased by Dinosaurs, its sequel, Sea Monsters, as well as the ITV miniseries Prehistoric Park. Nigel will provide the big picture to inspire and inform you on adopting new practices to improve the green credentials of your organisation.

 

Workshop: Minimising Waste to Improve Profitability

This practical workshop will show you how to reduce waste and costs to the benefit of both your organisation and the environment. During the session you will start to develop and action plan to help you monitor your waste reduction and improve efficiency within your organisation.

You’ll be given guidance on how to reduce your carbon footprint as well as how to access grants through the Carbon Action Fund to help you put your plans into action.

 

About the East Devon Carbon Action Programme (EDCAP)

EDCAP has been designed to provide free support for businesses and community organisations of all sizes across East Devon to measure and reduce their carbon impact, bring in more environmentally friendly practices and move towards becoming net zero.

The East Devon Carbon Action Programme is funded by East Devon District Council.
