Signposting to wellbeing support services\n\n\nOverview\nThe Rural Support and Wellbeing project\, run by the Heart of the South West Trading Standards service\, aims to raise awareness of the rural support services available to the farming community\, through specialist workshops and representation at rural events\, such as livestock markets and agricultural shows. \nThis project is being delivered in Cornwall\, Devon\, Dorset\, and Somerset as part of the Future Farming Resilience programme\, funded by DEFRA to support farmers and land managers. DESCRIPTION:Wellbeing and signposting to rural support services\n\n\nOverview\nThe Rural Support and Wellbeing project\, run by the Heart of the South West Trading Standards service\, aims to raise awareness of the rural support services available to the farming community\, through specialist workshops and representation at rural events\, such as livestock markets and agricultural shows. \nThis project is being delivered in Cornwall\, Devon\, Dorset\, and Somerset as part of the Future Farming Resilience programme\, funded by DEFRA to support farmers and land managers. The workshop will include an on-farm walk\, live soil sample analysis\, and discussions on the science behind soil health. \n  \nSoil Workshop: Led by Symbiosis Soil Lab\, an innovative mobile laboratory\, this workshop will introduce you to soil microbiology and the benefits of soil biodiversity. Symbiosis Soil Lab operates the only known Soil Microbiology Food Web Mobile Lab and they specialise in regenerating life into soils. \n  \nTalk: Tim Williams\, founder of Earth Farmers\, will expand on the links between soil biology and the profitability of your enterprise\, focussing on unleashing farm productivity.
