The Rural Support and Wellbeing project, run by the Heart of the South West Trading Standards service, aims to raise awareness of the rural support services available to the farming community, through specialist workshops and representation at rural events, such as livestock markets and agricultural shows.
This project is being delivered in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset as part of the Future Farming Resilience programme, funded by DEFRA to support farmers and land managers. The support is free and available from October 2022 to any farmer or land manager currently in receipt of BPS payments.
The Wellbeing Webinar series is running on the first Thursday of every month, from October 2023 to April 2024. The theme of this webinar is finance & technology. The guest speakers are yet to be announced, but watch this space.
This workshop is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon currently in receipt of BPS payments.
To be eligible to participate in the Future Farming Resilience project and receive subsequent one-to-one support or attend further workshops, you will be required to complete a Monitoring Information form.
