Overview
The Rural Support and Wellbeing project, run by the Heart of the South West Trading Standards service, aims to raise awareness of the rural support services available to the farming community, through specialist workshops and representation at rural events, such as livestock markets and agricultural shows.
This project is being delivered in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset as part of the Future Farming Resilience programme, funded by DEFRA to support farmers and land managers. The support is free and available to any farmer or land manager currently in receipt of BPS payments.
The Wellbeing Webinar series usually runs on the first Thursday of every month until December 2024. However, the team are working at the Honiton agricultural show on Thursday 1st August, so this webinar will take place on the 2nd Thursday of the month instead, on Thursday 8th August.
