SFI in Grassland: Wild Flower Meadows and CS Land Management Grants

22 July - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Free
With thanks to the Nettlecombe Estate for hosting

The recent Defra announcement regarding an expanded SFI offer, available from late July 2024, have left many farmers wondering whether SFI is the right approach for them.

Join us at this workshop where we explore what SFI could offer your farm business, with a particular focus on:

  • How SFI can work in practice on a grassland farm
  • What SFI actions are suitable, what they require you to do, and how much you could earn
  • We will focus in particular on actions suitable for grass farms, including wildflower meadows
  • How CS grants can support your land management, including how to apply

Eligibility:

This workshop is part of the Future Farming Resilience programme & is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon, Somerset, Dorset, or Cornwall currently in receipt of BPS payments.
