How accessible is this website?
This website has been developed to be as accessible as possible. However, we know some parts of this website aren’t fully accessible:
- While we endeavour to use structured HTML where possible, there may be some instances where headings do not display correctly.
- Clickable images do not have a focus indicator for keyboard users.
- Forms are not accessible for screen readers.
- Colour contrast in the standard view does not meet the required standard in some elements.
- Some buttons and icons do not have alt text due to functionality limitations.
We conduct periodic checks to test the accessibility of our website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.0. We are aware of the areas where development is required to make our site more usable for those with additional needs. We're a small team, but we are always looking to improve our website experience for all users.

Compliance
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
We are working to fix content which fails to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 AA standard.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
The content types listed below are non-accessible for the following reasons.
- Some headings do not display correctly. They may look like paragraph text or a different type of heading. This fails WCAG 2.0 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships).
- Some text or images of text do not meet the colour contrast ratio of 4.5:1, or 3:1 for larger text. This fails WCAG 2.0 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast & Colour Requirements).
- On interactive elements such as links, buttons and form fields, we provide a visible focus indicator when focus is received, but we do not always pass colour contrast levels on some elements. This fails WCAG 2.0 success criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
- Some elements with the same functionality, such as buttons and icons, do not have consistent labels, names and text alternatives. This fails WCAG 2.0 success criterion 3.2.4 (Consistent Identification).
How we test our website
We perform periodic tests on our website using the following tools:
- SilkTide screen reader
- Manual checking against WCAG 2.0 compliance criteria
- Browser-based reporting tools such as Lighthouse and Deque University’s colour contrast tool.

Our aim is to achieve the best possible compliance by December 2027. As we run periodic checks and make improvements, we will continue to review and update this statement accordingly.
