Farm Business Grants: The Rural England Prosperity Fund in Somerset

Rural England Prosperity Fund Somerset has been allocated £3.4m of capital funding for the rural areas of Somerset.

Capital funding is available to support new and existing rural businesses to develop new products and facilities of benefit to the wider local economy. This includes farm businesses looking to diversify income streams outside of agriculture

The application window for Round 1 funding is currently open until 15 September 2023.

In this workshop, we will explore the Rural England Prosperity Fund for rural Somerset, focusing on:

• Who is eligible for funding, and what capital items are prioritised
• Examples of projects which could be funded
• How applications may be made and how they are processed
• Next steps in preparing your application.

This workshop is available to any farmer or land manager in Somerset currently in receipt of BPS payments.
