Countryside Stewardship: A Guide to Completing your Mid-Tier Application

11 July, 2023 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Free
If you have decided to apply for a mid-tier Countryside Stewardship agreement, this workshop will help you prepare for your application.

Countryside Stewardship pays farmers for the environmental work they do alongside food production, with options and capital grants to protect and enhance the natural environment.

With updated payments rates, an expanded offer of options, and a simplified annual declaration of compliance, CS should be considered by all farmers looking to build a profitable farm business.

If you have decided to apply for a mid-tier Countryside Stewardship agreement, this workshop will help you prepare for your application. In this workshop, our agricultural advisor will show you each step in applying for Countryside Stewardship, including:

  • A summary of important dates
  • Key information to gather before you begin
  • How to access your application
  • A step-by-step walkthrough of the application
  • Common questions and problems
  • What happens next.

Eligibility:

This workshop is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Cornwall, or the Isles of Scilly currently in receipt of BPS payments.
