Farm Grants Update & Navigating the Agricultural Transition

With the change in farming support moving away from the Basic Payment Scheme there will be grants available towards environmental improvement, animal health and welfare, and reducing carbon emissions.

The Future Farming Resilience Fund has been funded by Defra to allow us to support farmers and land managers with this transition. The support is free for any farmer or land manager currently in receipt of BPS payments.

This FREE workshop will cover:

• Introducing the support to replace Basic Payment and timelines.
• Information on the Sustainable Farming Incentive Scheme (SFI)
• Other income streams relating to the Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMs)
• Farming In Protected Landscapes (AONB)
• The Farming Investment Fund including Slurry Infrastructure Grant and Farming Equipment and Technology Grant
• Stand Alone Water, Air and Boundary Capital Grants
• Woodland Grant Support
• Rural Prosperity Fund

You will also get the opportunity to sign up to get additional support through the Future Farm Resilience program including one to one on farm visits and advice.

We will be serving some refreshments prior to the start of the workshop.

Eligibility:

This workshop is available to any farmer or land manager in Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Cornwall, or the Isles of Scilly currently in receipt of BPS payments.
