Preparing your website for AI-Powered Search

As AI-powered search tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews become part of everyday life, the way people find businesses online is changing. Traditional search engine optimisation (SEO) remains important, but organisations must also understand how AI systems discover, interpret and recommend information.
This practical workshop explores the shift from search engines to answer engines and introduces the principles of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). Participants will learn how AI tools find information, what makes content more likely to be referenced by AI systems, and how to improve their online presence to remain visible in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Participants will leave with:
– A practical understanding of AI-powered search and discovery.
– A checklist for assessing AI search readiness.
– Three immediate actions they can implement straight away.
– Three medium-term improvements to plan for.
– A prioritised action plan tailored to their organisation.
– A clearer understanding of where further support may be beneficial.
Ideal for small business owners, marketers, website managers, communications teams and organisations that want to remain visible as customer search behaviour evolves.
