Her Vison, Her Venture

Inspiring and motivating women in Devon and Cornwall to explore entrepreneurship

Female entrepreneurs and business owners

Her Vision, Her Venture, funded by NatWest, was created to inspire women to leverage their skills, talent, and resilience to become their own boss.

For many women, the desire for independence and achieving a better work/life balance is a key motivator for starting a business. So if you've always wanted to start your own business and gain more control, flexibility, and freedom, why not talk to us today and we can help turn your idea into a reality.

We're here to bring your vision to life

Our programme will give you access to remote, one-to-one support with an experienced business mentor who will guide and support you in exploring business ideas and opportunities.

Your dedicated, local advisor will:

  • Work with you to explore how your skills, talents and experience can be developed into a business
  • Help keep you motivated and build confidence through your journey
  • Guide you through the steps to go from an idea to a viable business, and help you avoid common mistakes when starting out
  • Mentor you through any questions or issues you may have to help you develop your idea and get your business off the ground.

What you can expect
  • An initial in-depth session
With your advisor, you'll discuss your talents, what you enjoy and explore any existing business ideas. In this session, you'll also explore any weaknesses or barriers and how to overcome them, your ambitions for the near future, and a game plan for your potential business.
  • An incentive pack
Sent out after your initial meeting, packed with things to help you start putting plans into action!
  • A business planning session
Tackle questions or areas you're unsure about; explore who your audience is and how to find them; examine funding, budgeting, and cash flow planning; look at any red tape or regulations; and establish your next steps.
  • A brief follow-up session
If you've started trading or are on the cusp of doing so, we'll follow up with a brief session to answer any questions or help with last-minute issues.
